AtLA Recognizes Joey Dowling for National Womens Month
Joey grew up in Orem, Utah, with younger sister Jacki and older brother Christopher. She began her training at her mother’s studio, The Dance Club, and spent her summers in Los Angeles training at professional studios in the city. After graduating from high school, Joey attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she received a scholarship for one year before jumping into the professional world. Joey quickly started working in regional theatre, toured with Mariah Carey, appeared on Broadway and in film, and much more! Of all Joey’s many experiences, she finds great joy in teaching and choreographing and the opportunity to give back.
