AtLA Takeova Recognizes Sho-Tyme for Black History Month
From Far Rockaway Queens, NYC, Sho-Tyme has brought himself out from the street way of living and has proven that what you set your heart and mind to can be done. His versatility as a dancer/ choreographer along with his creativity and extensive knowledge of Hip Hop, Popping and House have enabled him to choreograph for many of the top artists in the industry including: Aaliyah, Jay Z, Mary J Blige, P Diddy, Shakira, Busta Ryhmes, J Lo, Mya, TLC, Christina Millan, Gnarles Barkley, Katy Perry, Kelly Rowland.
Sho-Tyme is also the choreographer and genius behind Gwen Stefani and her Harajuku Girls during her solo career. Sho-tyme has worked on TV Shows such as Dancing With The Stars, Dirty Dancing UK and on movies such as You Got Served, Stomp The Yard & Dance Flick. His work also includes choreography for ‘So You Think You Can Dance – Canada’ seasons 1-4 as well as the Choreographer and Co-Star of the film “You Got Served/Beat The World’ Sho-Tyme’s passion is to continue teaching and educating the now and new generation of dancers around the world, that dance is first from the heart and should be done with the love for it and not for industry goals.
He promises that anyone who dance from the heart will see the fun, joy, essence, culture and history inside the dance while being a working dancer in the industry and definitely outside of the industry.
