ATL in the UK.
WOW!!! The ATL dance scene is starting to become an international force. Just this past week Atlanta's own "Sean Bankhead" was one of nine AMAZING choreographers in the HDI Summer Dance Camp. For those of you who don't know, HDI UK is one the biggest dance conventions in Europe. They fly some of America's hottest choreographers overseas to teach in a WEEK long professional dance camp. The location is set in a beautiful "Hogwarts" like castle in Wales. From the looks of it, it's almost like being in a dance wonderland. Watch out Harry Potter! Overall, we all know Bankhead didn't fail to deliver. There is even word that he taught "Good Kisser" by Usher. I'm sure the UK dancers craved more of Bankhead's groove movements and sharp, smooth musicality. Ha, makes me want to dance just thinking about it. Guess this outburst of dance should be saved for the ATLA Dance Convention on November 7th; where Bankhead will be bringing the energy as a faculty member. Bring out your Adidas pants and fitted hats ATL, because this convention will be one you DON"T want to miss!!
